Garden Design Process

Designing a garden should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Our process is collaborative, transparent, and flexible, ensuring the final design suits both your site and your lifestyle.

1. Initial Site Visit

We meet on site where we assess the garden, discuss your ideas, and show examples of work. This is charged at our on-site consultation hourly rate but also forms part of the process for formulating what is needed to support you.

2. Estimate

You receive an estimate outlining our hourly rate and a realistic price range.

3. Site Measurements & Design Brief

Site measurements are taken and further information is taken.

4. Initial Concept Design

A scaled concept plan is emailed to you as a PDF for feedback.

5. Refinement

We refine the design until every area meets your needs and expectations.

6. Final Design Package

The completed plans and plant lists are prepared with 3D rendering and emailed to you.

Throughout the process, communication and collaboration are key. If additional time is ever required beyond the initial estimate, this is discussed before proceeding. The steps taken and detail created depend on your requirements and the package selected.
